1. Structural characteristics
     Spiral plate structure: It is made by rolling two parallel stainless steel thin plates to form two spiral shaped channels. Two fluids of different temperatures flow in these two channels and exchange heat through spiral plates. This structure enables the fluid to form a complex flow field when flowing in the channel, increasing fluid disturbance and improving heat transfer efficiency.
     Sealing form: Welding sealing or gasket sealing is usually used. The spiral plate heat exchanger with welded sealing has good sealing and pressure resistance performance, and is suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and highly corrosive working conditions; Gasket sealing facilitates disassembly and maintenance, and different materials of gaskets can be selected according to different working conditions to meet the requirements of sealing and corrosion resistance.
     Import and export design: There are fluid inlet and outlet ports at both ends of the spiral plate heat exchanger. The position and form of import and export are designed according to specific process requirements and fluid characteristics to ensure uniform distribution and good flow state of the fluid in the heat exchanger, and improve heat transfer efficiency.
2. Working principle
     Based on the principle of heat conduction, the temperature difference between the fluids on both sides of the spiral plate is utilized to transfer heat from the high-temperature fluid to the low-temperature fluid. When the hot fluid flows in the spiral channel, it transfers heat to the stainless steel spiral plate, which then transfers heat to the cold fluid on the other side, thereby achieving heat exchange between the two fluids and achieving the purpose of heating or cooling.
3. Advantages
     High heat transfer efficiency: The special structure of the spiral plate allows the fluid to form a spiral flow in the channel, increasing the flow velocity and disturbance degree of the fluid, reducing the heat transfer resistance, and improving the heat transfer coefficient. Compared with traditional shell and tube heat exchangers, the heat transfer efficiency of spiral plate heat exchangers can be improved by 30% -50%.
     Small footprint: The spiral plate heat exchanger has a compact structure and a large heat transfer area per unit volume. Under the same heat transfer load, its footprint is only 1/3-1/2 of that of a shell and tube heat exchanger, which can effectively save space and is particularly suitable for places with limited space.
     Not easy to scale: The spiral flow of fluid in the spiral channel has a certain self scouring effect, which can reduce the deposition of dirt on the heat transfer surface, reduce the risk of scaling, and extend the service life of the equipment. At the same time, the cleaning of spiral plate heat exchangers is relatively convenient, and dirt can be removed through chemical cleaning or mechanical cleaning.
